The Friends are focussed on working with the Head-teacher and her staff, to provide as much assistance as possible for the school. Regular meetings give the staff the opportunity to request items that they feel the pupils will benefit from most of all and the Friends work to deliver these aspirations.

Current item on the "wish-list" are: the re-structure of the playground to incorporate outside learning and the Healthy School Initiative.

A regular meeting between the Friends' Chair and the Head-teacher guarantees that the Friends continue to strive towards fulfilling the requests that will offer the greatest benefit to all pupils of the school.

In addition to the goals for the school, the money from the cake sales goes to the class that hosts it.

Last years committee has worked very hard (whilst having fun). £11,000 was raised and given to the school during 2007-2008 academic year. New officers have been elected at the  AGM and new members are very welcome.

We all lead busy lives and appreciate many of you have limited time to spare but without the FPISA the children wouldn't enjoy many of the extras we have been able to raise funds for.

If you would like any more information on being involved with FPISA, please speak to any of the committee members.
